Introducing shareable views & links manager
The latest AYON update focuses on two things that speed teams up: saving the way you like to work, and making relationships between your project’s entities explicit.
Note: Views and Links Manager are available in AYON Pro and AYON Studio.
Shareable Views
Views let you save and reopen a page exactly how you need it: filters, grouping, sorting, and columns, then share that layout with the team. Use your private Working View as a scratchpad for ad-hoc tweaks without touching anyone’s saved View. When you’re ready, share a View across projects and set Viewer / Editor / Admin permissions so Producers can lock standards while Leads curate what their teams see.

Links Manager
Links define stable relationships between entities in your project, from shots, assets, tasks, notes and more, so you can trace dependencies with confidence. Unlike transient, event-based signals, links are durable: they’re easy to inspect, query, and visualise for reviews, hand-offs, and delivery prep. Each project can define its own Link Types in Project Anatomy, so pipelines stay flexible while keeping structure.
From Project Overview and Lists, you can see existing links at a glance, open linked entities, create new links by searching or picking from the navigator, and even copy-paste links across entities to avoid repetitive setup.

Automation examples
Task flow: define a
taskFlowlink type (task → task) and use an add-on to auto-create links on task creation (e.g., modelling precedes texturing).Status progression: on publish, a plugin checks links and advances statuses for downstream entities.
Load latest products: automatically fetch latest outputs from linked tasks so artists always pull the right version.
